Alisson Braga

Head Instructor of Gracie Barra Indonesia

Professor Alisson Braga is a fourth degree black belt from Gracie Barra Belo Horizonte under the legendary Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhaes. He has been training BJJ for over 15 years, and received his black belt in 2010. An active competitor in the Martial Art, Professor Alisson has won many national and international titles during his years of training, including 2 CBJJE World Championships and Gold at the IBJJF Manila Open 2018 and 2019. Before coming to Indonesia, Professor Alisson taught BJJ in Brazil and Singapore, and is also a professional physiotherapist, gaining his degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais.

Jackie Angsono

Assistant/Beginners & Ladies Class Coach at Gracie Barra Indonesia

Coach Jackie is a Brown Belt under Professor Bruno Amorim and Professor Alisson Braga. She started training in the US in 2017 and got her Blue belt within 1,5 years. Moved back to Indonesia in 2018 and met Professor Bruno where she felt at home and officiated as the first member of Gracie Barra Indonesia. Jackie is currently one of the Assistant Instructors for the kids’ program and also teaches some of the Basic Classes in Gracie Barra South Jakarta. Amidst her busy schedule she’s actively competing both locally and internationally. “Always improving” is her motto, and that’s what she tries to instill in her students.

Nurul Fikri

Assistant/Beginners Class Coach at Gracie Barra Indonesia

Coach Fikri is a Brown belt under Professor Alisson Braga, his interest to learn BJJ stems from his preparation to better equip himself for his MMA fights in One Pride and One Championship, and he fell in love with the art. This led him to be in the Indonesian National Team in Jujitsu and became a medalist in the 2022 Southeast Asian Games in Vietnam. He has also managed numerous medals locally and internationally, including AJP Johor Baru and Thailand, Copa De Malaysia, BJJ Roots Southeast Asian Open, and the National Sport Week Championship.

Tania Barcellos Braga

Assistant Kids & Ladies Class Coach at Gracie Barra Indonesia

Meet Coach Tania! She is a blue belt and one of the assistant Kids and Ladies class coaches. She is the woman behind the lens that captures our GB family. Before moving to Indonesia she works in Marketing for a leading Global Appliance company in Brazil. Besides being an assistant coach, she is a full-time mother for her son and a part-time mother for the students at Gracie Barra Indonesia.

Wahyu Hidayat

Head Coach at Equipe Titan Indonesia

Coach Wahyu is a Brown Belt under Professor Bruno Amorim and Professor Alisson Braga. He is the first Indonesian to medal at the prestigious Abu Dhabi World Professional back in 2018. In 2018 he represented Indonesia in the Asian Games for Jiu-Jitsu, and currently, he is still representing West Java for the PON & National Selection. He has numerous accomplishments both locally and internationally including medals from Copa de Malaysia, Copa de Bangkok, South East Asian Open, Abu Dhabi World Professional and Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. Those who have trained with coach Wahyu knows that Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu works, despite his size he overcomes his opponents with ease emphasizing timing and technique. His passion and dedication to the art also led him to continue to teach others and spread the joy he gets from the sport.

Hendra Sean

Head Coach at Titan BJJ Semarang

Coach Sean, a Purple Belt promoted by Professor Bruno Amorim and Professor Alisson, serves as the Head Coach of Titan BJJ Semarang. He started practicing BJJ in Shanghai BJJ when he was in college, then trained under Professor Martin Hartono’s team in Universal Grappling where he is known as “The Goblin” in No Gi and later trained under Professor Marco “Sharpei” Machado before joining with his now home in Gracie Barra. With a decorated competitive career, he has secured medals in prestigious tournaments including the IBJJF Manila Open, Kuala Lumpur Open, Indonesian Submission Challenge, and Copa Da Malasia, alongside numerous local competitions. Coach Sean’s achievements attest to his profound understanding of jiujitsu and his unwavering dedication to excellence. His coaching philosophy revolves around instilling values of commitment, knowledge, and sportsmanship in his students, empowering them to pursue greatness in their jiujitsu journey both on and off the mat.

Audric Luaw

Assistant Coach at Titan BJJ Semarang

Coach Audric, known as “Dragonfly,” proudly wears the Purple Belt, bestowed upon him by Professor Bruno Amorim and Professor Alisson Braga. Currently serving as the Assistant Coach of Titan BJJ Semarang, Audric brings his passion and expertise to the mats. His impressive competitive journey includes significant triumphs such as clinching the gold medal at the Kuala Lumpur Open 2019 and the Springroll Open, alongside securing silver medals at Copa Da Malasia, Copa Da Bangkok, and the Jakarta Open. Additionally, Audric has excelled in numerous local competitions, showcasing his dedication and skill in the realm of jiujitsu. As an assistant coach, Audric channels his experience and commitment to guide aspiring athletes, fostering a culture of growth, resilience, and sportsmanship within the Titan BJJ Semarang community.

Professor Andy Travis

Head Coach at Advance BJJ

Professor Andy Travis began training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in 2011 under Professor Paul Rice and the guidance of Professor Lucio Sergio Dos Santos, earning all ranks up to brown belt through Lucio Sergio BJJ Lifestyle in the UK. Over nine years, he trained extensively with top black belts and competed regularly, earning medals at events including the IBJJF London Open and British Open.

After moving to Jakarta in 2019, Andy coached at De Been 100% Jiu Jitsu before launching Advance BJJ and Fitness. In 2022, he was awarded his black belt by Professor Peter DeBeen. In 2025, Andy and his academy joined Gracie Barra Indonesia and Equipe Titan to further student development.

Andy remains active on the competition scene, winning gold at the IBJJF Asian Open 2024 in the Black Belt Master 5 Heavyweight Division.
